“Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.”— Viktor E. Frankl

Why Finding Meaning Is an Act of Creation

We’ve all heard it: “Life is meaningless… unless we give it meaning.” At first, it may sound disheartening. But it’s actually a declaration of creative power.

The Austrian psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, author of Man’s Search for Meaning, explained that even in the worst human conditions, people have the capacity to create meaning.

“Life has meaning under all circumstances, even the most miserable ones.” Frankl

When we know who we are, and when we align our choices with what truly brings us peace and joy, life shifts from feeling chaotic to creative. And one of the most powerful ways we express that creativity is through style.

Style: The External Language of the Inner Self

Psychologist Carl Rogers believed that becoming your true self is the path to personal fulfillment,

“What I am is good enough; if I would only be it openly.”

Style be it fashion, home decor, rituals, or even how we walk into a room isn’t superficial. It’s symbolic. It’s emotional. It reflects the inner world you’ve cultivated.

When your style aligns with your truth, life becomes poetic. Getting dressed becomes a declaration. Drinking your coffee becomes a mindful ritual. Even your surroundings start to reflect your inner serenity.

How to Find Your Personal Style

You don’t need to follow every trend. Instead, listen inward and notice what resonates with your soul. Some common style inspirations include:

Style Type

Description

Bohemian (Boho)

Earthy, creative, colorful, free-spirited

Scandinavian / Nordic

Clean, calm, minimalist, nature-inspired

Modern Geometric

Bold shapes, symmetry, artistic clarity

Vintage

Romantic, nostalgic, rich in story

Minimalist

Intentional, serene, space-conscious

Eclectic

Personal, playful, a mix of influences

But here’s the truth:Your style is your fingerprint. Your signature.

You can blend these influences to create something entirely yours. Ask yourself:

  • What textures calm me?

  • What colors energize me?

  • What symbols feel like home?

Draw Inspiration From Nature & Archetypes

Whether you love the stars or forests, geometry or mythology—use those elements intentionally in your lifestyle:

Celestial Symbols: Moons, stars, galaxies → Represent transformation, intuition, cosmic rhythm Nature Motifs: Trees, leaves, stones, rivers → Reflect grounding, healing, growth

Elements: Fire, water, air, earth → Express emotion, power, flow, stability

Geometric Patterns: Triangles, mandalas, circles → Embody structure, creativity, balance

Places You Love: Tiles of Morocco, Persian motifs, Scandinavian whites → Tell your story

Inspiration Is Everywhere, If You Stay Open

In The Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron writes:

“Creativity is an act of faith. We must believe that our stories matter.”

To design your life as a work of art, you must fill your creative well regularly. Here’s how:

  • Walk in nature and let your senses guide you.

  • Visit a museum or gallery and absorb visual language.

  • Light candles with intention. Make everyday sacred.

  • Drink tea or coffee slowly—taste, breathe, feel.

  • Write freely, even if it’s messy. Let emotions out.

  • Listen to music that stirs something ancient in you.

  • Surround yourself with beauty, not for display, but for soul nourishment.

You Are the Artist of Your Life

When you intentionally craft a life that reflects your truth, you are no longer merely surviving you are creating. You're not following a map you are drawing it.

Your morning routine becomes a brushstroke. Your space becomes a gallery. Your choices become poetry.

Your life becomes your art.

Final Words

We were never meant to just exist. We were meant to create, to express, and to live in alignment with who we truly are.

So go ahead;🔸 Find your elements🔸 Claim your colors🔸 Shape your symbols🔸 Live your story

The world doesn’t need another perfect person. It needs your truth, in its most artistic, honest, and beautiful form.
